Drought

I can't pretend that riding down dark, San Francisco streets turned canals is not fun. Tires a quarter deep in rushing water, the car next to you hits a puddle and nearly washes you away. 

Check Mate

I think I liked him because he checked me on many of my potential behaviors. He brought it to my attention if I was acting selfishly or being at all materialistic. He too was selfish and materialistic, but in a different way. I never had the ability to check him in the same way that he was able check me.

If I can't please you, please, please yourself.
